Ryan
Design Studio was formed in 2003 by Padraic
Ryan. Padraic graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor
of Architecture in 1995. Upon graduation, he accepted a position with
Centerbrook Architects in Essex, Connecticut where he spent the next 6
years learning the business of Architecture and becoming a licensed Architect
in the State of Connecticut. While at Centerbrook, Padraic worked on a
number of projects including a new Library for Quinnipiac University,
an award-winning railroad bridge in Worcester, Massachusetts and a new
wing for the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In addition to Architecture, Padraic created web sites on the side, including
the first web presence for Centerbrook Architects, as well as an early
e-commerce system in 1997 selling children's books.
In 2001, Padraic left Centerbrook Architects with a few colleagues to open a new satellite office for Ai Architects, a large Washington, DC-based firm who worked with clients as AOL, Boeing and Capital One. While the work was exciting and the people fantastic, Padraic wished to fulfill his long time goal of owning his own firm, and creating web sites full-time. Thus, Ryan Design Studio was born.
In addition to Padraic, Ryan Design Studio utilizes a team of professionals in a variety of fields from Graphic Design to PHP programming in order to provide the client with the best possible product, whether it be a simple brochure-type web site, or an online store. We often collaborate on projects with our good friend Carlos Rodriguez of Gazulos Design Studio. Carlos is a graphics master, and has helped us achieve many of the designs you see in our portfolio.
